What are Hosts?

A Host is either an IP address or a domain that you'd like to enable monitoring on.

We gather reputation data from various sources, some are are indexed by IP address, and some by domain. We'll check your information against the relevant data sources, all of which are customizable via Monitoring Profiles.

It's important to add your hosts correctly; for example, if you want to monitor your mail servers (the most common type of monitoring), you must add the individual mail server IP addresses. If you add the mail server host name, or your domain name, we will not monitor the correct RBLs.
